Where has time gone?

Vanessa is going to be 1 in 2 weeks today!!! Where has time gone??
Why does she have to grow??? Why can't she stay my baby? She has her top & bottom front teeth and is working very hard on getting her top "eye" teeth as well as her bottom ones. Prefers to sleep it off instead of taking any meds or help with the teething pain. Not quite walking yet - she prefers to jump when she's standing. It will come in time, I am not currently worried about it - haha. She has been a wonderful little addition to our lives and we wouldn't want it any other way.

9 weeks or less from yesterday we should be holding our newest little member!!! I am more nervous about Vanessa missing out the actual birth of lil man. Everything is set - we just need time to go slightly faster ;)

April 6, 2012

I know that there are some people who prefer to call be a "Queen B" or "Princess" (well I do have it inked on my lower back in Japanese)

Turns out I am quite spoiled!!! With another bundle of joy on the way we realized that we are in needs of a larger/newer vehicle. Time to leave the "soccer mom van" group and upgrade to something else.

So we have been looking for a good year (well before we found out about #five). At first it was a vague search - pretty much find an SVU we both liked. Then narrowed down to which would be better for us, diesel or gas. Then our hearts were set on 2005 Ford Excursion with either a bench or bucket seats in the middle, low km & diesel....well those proved to be harder to come across in our price range than we had wanted. So our search continued....and continued...then we realized that the insurance is up on my van at the end of May and we wanted me to get used to a new vehicle.

Well one day Karl came into the house and asked if I would drive another white vehicle. All honesty, color was NOT even on my radar - I wanted something that would hold my family of soon to be 7 a double stroller and not be in the mechanics shop every month and actually work for what we need it to work for.

So I rolled my eyes, shrugged my shoulders (made it look like it was a hard choice for me) - then said no.

He then took me over to the laptop to show me
THIS

Yeah, it looks like a drug mobile or something along those lines (*cough*chicken farmer*cough*).

I wasn't sold on it - until I saw it in person and was SOLD!!!
Ok the 24" rims are HOT and make me feel special/important (yes I know they aren't practical for towing), HIGH tinted windows. Leather seats, seats 8. DVD/CD/MP3 player. Backup camera. 16" sub woofer in the rear (fully encased in the body and set up properly). Sunroof, which the kids LOVE!!! Auto start, which I recommend you don't find out about while the vehicle is in the garage and the door closed & you are sitting at the kitchen table, lol. LOW kms & a low price, which we are extremely happy about!!!

I couldn't be happier with my new wheels!!! Nor can Karl, he is happy that we now have something reliable and don't have to worry about anything in regards to service (aside from the normal maintenance).
