Dallen & his timeout

Colin gets timeouts when he misbehaves or doesn't listen. He sits in a little wooden chair in front of the microwave timer until his 5 minutes are up (1 min for each year).

Dallen did something wrong the other day, possibly threw a toy or hit one of his brothers - I said time out, now - he marched his happy little butt into the kitchen & went right to the timeout chair. I was a little shocked.

So I set up the timer for 2 minutes. He sat there. Didn't move, or talk - which is the rules of the timeout chair. And when it beeped that the 2 minutes were over, he walked up to me, gave me a hug & said "orry" (sorry) (which is a rule of the chair).

So far its working quite well.
